My name is Whit Nelson and I’m a geek.
I’m a freelance programmer, writer, actor and builder in Chicago, Illinois. I enjoy fiddling with contraptions both old-tymey and new-fangled. My obsession is code. My passion is comedy. Comedy is harder.
I work mostly in Flash, PHP, and Javascript, but my true geek lies in taking up unfamiliar systems. I’ve built applications in Java, ASP.net, C++, and Ruby.
I’m an ensemble member with The New Colony theater company, I improvise with the Belmont Transfer, and I co-own a home brew supply shop called Brew Camp.
Oh, apparently I’m a blogger too. Who knew?
